The B Series Deflector boom is BP approved for use in inland and ocean environments. It’s shorter skirt reduces drag in swift currents and can be customized depending on need. It’s lightweight and reliable construction makes it ideal for shoreline and protected coastal protection. It is an inexpensive boom, yet it features a high buoyancy reserve provided by stable closed cell foam log. |
The A and C Series Deflector booms are specifically crafted for use in channels and open ocean. They feature larger freeboards with wider and deeper foam core to keep substances such as oil from spilling over the top, and longer skirts to contain substances below the surface. Meeting SEA 3 classification, this boom is the best option for containment on the open ocean. |
